Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion and Education (PGDHPE) course is a one year professional and residential course affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The main objective of the course is to prepare professional Health Educators who will be able to plan, implement, and evaluate Health Education programme according to the prevailing health problems and the National Health Programme and to promote health and prevent disease, disabilities and premature death through education-driven voluntary behaviour change activities of the community.
