1. Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion and Education (Affiliated with The TamilNadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai)

Duration: 12 months

ELIGIBILITY: 

A Master’s Degree (10+2+3 academic stream) in Arts or Science or Education or Nursing of a recognized Indian University with ONE YEAR experience in community work (the experience should be after completion of the Degree)

(or)

A Bachelor’s Degree (10+2 academic stream) in Arts or Science or Education or Nursing or BE/B.Tech. Engineering Graduates with TWO YEARS experience in Community Work / Public Health Department (the experience should be after completion of the Degree) Both and women candidates are eligible for admission.

Annual intake  – 30 students

2.  Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (Recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu)

Admission details: No. of seats:  30 (Thirty only)

Duration:    2 years

Eligibility:  

Citizen of India A pass in HSC With Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (OR) Biology Subjects by the Tamilnadu board of Higher secondary education or Equivalent board with science subjects in the State of Tamilnadu.

Age:

Minimum  – 17 years

Maximum  –  32 years

3. Health Visitors Course/Promotional training for ANM/MPHW (F)

Eligibility:

Candidates should have registered herself in the state nursing council as ANM/MPHW (F) and should have completed 5 years of experience

Educational Qualification:

1. 10th Standard or Plus Two (+2) Pass

2. Certificate of ANM/MPHW (F)

3. Certificate of registration from State Nursing Council

Course Content:

The curriculum is approved by INC, New Delhi. The course will cover basic health sciences, Principles of Nursing, Environmental Health, Principles of Supervision of Management, and Practical Experiences are provided in the community and hospital settings.

Promotional Opportunity:

The 6 months HV course qualifies the Female Health Worker to take up the supervisory post as Health Supervisors Female (LHV) at Rural/Urban health setup
